The cost of doing nothing

'What's the cost of doing nothing?'

It's the first question you need to ask to know whether you have a problem worth solving.

Doing nothing always has a cost; you just don't get the invoice straight away.

You pay for it in missed opportunities, inefficiency, lost ground to competitors, lost customers, declining revenue, damaged reputation, and waning relevance.

Not every problem needs solving—value needs to outweigh the investment. But the ones that do only get harder and more costly the longer you wait.
