There’s good reason why good advice gets repeated. It’s because mistakes do too.
We have to keep reminding ourselves of what’s important.
Like prioritising 'progress over perfection'. And 'taking care of the basics'.
'Keep it simple'. 'Focus on what matters'.
They’re so familiar they often go unsaid, or dismissed as obvious.
But they can catch you out.
It’s easy to lose sight of the target when you're caught up in the ambition of what could be, rather than delivering what’s needed now.
Sometimes the simplest advice is the hardest to follow.
